Current Positions
Full or Part-Time Therpist (LPC, LMSW or LCSW)
We are currently accepting applications for part-time and full-time providers.
Duties include providing individual, couples and family counseling. Providing evidence-based psychotherapy to assigned clients. Accurately diagnoseing clients utilizing DSM criteria. Developing tailored, individulized treatment plans for each client and maintaining accurate records. This description reflects the essential functions of the Therapist role and is not an exhaustive list of all duties and tasks associated with the position.
Qualifications
Current licensure as a LMSW/LCSW or LPC, preference given to a LCSW or LPC licensed in both AR and MO.

Proven work experience as a social worker or counselor is preferred.

Therapy Intern
Work experience gained during an internship is invaluable, and you can’t acquire that knowledge otherwise. The only way to know what it takes to help patients through their mental health issues is by practice. This is something a professor can’t teach in a classroom setting, and this gap is filled through internships. Roni and Kris have provided profesional supervision since 2009. We have had numerous interns over the years many of which are local providers in our community. This is a unique internship opportunity!
The Therapy Intern’s role is to provide quality care and support to clients, and their families, shadow and assist professional counselors who provide direct therapeutic counseling services to individuals, couples, families and groups as appropriate to address the mental health needs of clients. The Intern carries out all counseling responsibilities in accordance with Counseling & Family Therapy Center’s policies and procedures.
Responsibilities & Duties
All duties are completed under supervision by a direct supervisor.

Provide direct/tele-health clinical treatment/therapeutic counseling as appropriate to adults, children, adolescents, parents/guardians, couples and families.

Assess client needs, develop treatment plans, implement interventions, review outcomes, revisit/revise strategies, and employ other methods compatible with Counseling & Family Therapy Center’s principles and practices.

Engage client, supports, caregivers and other key participants in active, change-oriented treatment

by identifying and overcoming obstacles to participation.

Collaborate with all relevant internal/external systems/participants to ensure buy-in and cooperation, and to maximize effectiveness throughout treatment.

Link consumers to additional resources as appropriate, including schools, medical/mental health support, etc.

Maintain clear and concise documentation of treatment efforts, which promote peer and supervisory review and feedback.

Participate in team meetings, staff events, community events, peer support, supervision and internal or external professional development opportunities to extend knowledge and remain current on best
-
practices.

Maintain personal integrity and follow the guidelines of the national and state ethical codes of practice as well as Counseling & Family Therapy Center’s codes of conduct.

Attend regular supervision with direct supervisor per internship requirements for graduation.
Qualifications & Skills
Must be in a graduate program receiving a degree in counseling, marriage and family therapy or social work.

Demonstrated knowledge of and sensitivity to diverse cultures.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Flexible work schedule with the willingness and ability to work evenings and via telehealth.

Valid driver’s license and laptop.
